I never leave reviews but felt that this time I should make the effort! I bought the sleepy moon lamp and bear wall sticker from the UK. I was a little worried however it arrived very promptly. In addition I was sent a link from Hartendief to an online store where I could order the correct wire needed for the UK. For anyone worrying it simply screws on and is not a problem at all. I can not recommend Hartendief enough for their excellent customer service and great product!

Why a Hartendief lamp

A lamp you won’t find in every shop, made to last for years.

Starts as a watercolour

Every design begins as a watercolour by Hylkia de Jong. That’s why you see brushstrokes, not stock images.

Made locally

Dreamt up by the Hartendief team and made in the Netherlands.

Sustainable and made with care

Short supply lines without long-haul shipping, and a lamp that grows with your child from nursery to big-kid room.

Easy to hang

A nail or hook in the wall, plug it in, flick the switch. No electrician needed, magic tonight.

Soft night light

With a low-wattage bulb, a calm glow for bedtime and night feeds. The open sides keep the bulb from getting hot.

Original Hartendief

All designs are Hartendief originals, protected by copyright. Real magic, not a copy.

Dreamt up by Hylkia de Jong

Since 2015, Hylkia has been painting hidden worlds for the nursery. Every design begins as a little story and a watercolour at her drawing table, and then takes shape in the Netherlands.

Her wish: that children and their parents fall in love with their own world of imagination all over again.
