General Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply as soon as you place an order via hartendief.com. They contain important information about your rights and our working methods. Please read them carefully — and feel free to save or print them for later.

2. Definitions
In these terms and conditions, we understand:
Hartendief — Hartendief Design BV, located in Valkenburg and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 71408657.
Website — hartendief.com and all associated subdomains.
Customer — the natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business and enters into an agreement with Hartendief.
Agreement — any agreement or arrangement between Hartendief and the customer, of which these general terms and conditions form an integral part.
3. Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, agreements, and deliveries by Hartendief, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
Deviating customer conditions are only binding if Hartendief has expressly accepted them in writing.
4. Prices and information
All prices on the website include VAT and other government levies. Any shipping costs will be clearly stated in good time before the completion of your order and will be displayed separately during the ordering process.
The content of our website has been compiled with great care. Nevertheless, it may happen that information is not always completely up-to-date. All prices and information are subject to apparent programming or typing errors. Hartendief cannot be held responsible for color deviations resulting from the quality of your monitor.
5. Formation of the agreement
The agreement is concluded when you accept Hartendief's offer and meet the stated conditions.
In the case of an electronic order, we will confirm receipt by email as soon as possible. As long as you have not yet received this confirmation, you have the right to dissolve the agreement.
If incorrect data has been provided when entering into the agreement, Hartendief has the right to suspend performance until the correct data has been received.
6. Order execution
As soon as we receive your order, we will ship the products as quickly as possible.
The standard delivery time is 3 working days. If we cannot deliver an order within the agreed period, we will inform you immediately. You can then agree to a new delivery date or cancel the order free of charge.
We advise you to inspect the delivered products upon receipt and to report any defects to us as soon as possible — preferably by email.
The risk for the products transfers to you at the time of delivery to the specified address.
7. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. After notification of cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product to us.
You will receive the full order amount including the original shipping costs back. Only the costs for the return shipment are for your own account.
Return the product preferably in its original condition and packaging, with all supplied accessories. During the cooling-off period, handle the product with care — only open the packaging as far as necessary to assess the product.
Register your return in advance via info@hartendief.com. Refund will take place within 14 days of notification, as soon as the product has been received in good order.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Products made to measure or according to your specifications
- Products that are clearly personal in nature

8. Payment
Payment is made via the payment methods offered during the ordering process. Hartendief reserves the right to change the range of payment methods.
9. Warranty and conformity
Hartendief guarantees that all products comply with the agreement, the stated specifications and the reasonable requirements of soundness and usability, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
If a product does not comply with the agreement, please notify us as soon as possible after discovery. After assessing the complaint, the relevant products will be repaired, replaced or reimbursed in consultation. The maximum reimbursement is equal to the price you paid for the product in question.
Hartendief is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect connection or use of the product.
10. Complaints
Do you have a complaint about a product or our services? Please contact us via the contact details at the bottom of this page — by phone, email or post.
We will respond within 5 working days of receiving your complaint. If a substantive response is not yet possible at that time, we will confirm receipt and indicate when you can expect a definitive answer.
11. Personal data
Hartendief processes your personal data in accordance with the privacy statement published on the website.
12. Final provisions
Dutch law applies to all agreements with Hartendief.
Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch court in the district where Hartendief Design BV is located, unless mandatory law dictates otherwise.
If a provision in these terms and conditions is found to be void, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In such a case, the parties will establish a replacement provision that is as consistent as possible with the intention of the original provision.
In these terms and conditions, "in writing" also includes communication by email, provided that the identity of the sender and the integrity of the message are sufficiently established.
