The World of Hartendief
Our collection of wall lamps and pendant lights for children have a beautiful print on the outside and a secret story on the inside. If you turn on the light at night, you enter a new world. Each lamp tells its own story. With our wallpapers, we try to create a space in which every child can play out their fantasy story. With wallpaper circles, you can conjure up a fairytale wall in the children's room in no time. Super easy to apply with incredibly fast results! Combined with some beautiful accessories and a dreamy wall lamp, you complete the room in a whim. Our wall stickers are to cuddle. Some seem to be holding the cord of light and are just super cute on any wall.
Hartendief History
Hartendief is distinguished herself by her own unique style that appeals to the imagination of children all over the world. Founded in 2015 by Hylkia de Jong, who originally worked in fashion, Hartendief loves innovative and unique children's room designs that are just that little bit different from others.... in 2016 they were one of the first to show the dark children's room, Hartendief went viral on Pinterest and the photos of the Sleepy Moon lamp and Bear were repinned millions of times. All designs are created, conceived and executed by the Hartendief team. And of course, each item has the magical signature of Hartendief.... Just turn on the light!
Hartendief and sustainability
All items are as sustainable as possible and produced in the Netherlands and Europe, where we work with local manufacturers.
Our printing is done with UV inks instead of solvent-based inks.
The wallpapers are made of PVC-free material, our wooden items are recycled Ecoplex birch wood. We respect people and the environment in our 'workflow' and that is why we recycle and reuse as many materials as we can. When packing, we use as few plastics as possible and make sure that as many items fit in one shipping box. That's why some products consist of two parts and that's why our wall lights are packed in a specially designed cardboard sleeve, which fits exactly in our Hartendief box - to prevent damage during transport.
